Seth Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Tough day! We fished five hours and hit several areas between Pb2 and bridge and only had six keepers. They turned on for the last thirty minutes of light and we caugt nine keepers from a brush pile we had just fished 20 minutes earlier and ever got a bite. Makes you wonder how many fish our lures go by that don't bite. Water was dingy and ranged 53-56 degrees. Everybody we spoke to was struggling during the day.
Skeeter ZX190 Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 I was on the Osage around the 60 mm. Tough there too. I only had 6 keepers fishing by myself. Even the boats fishing the spider rigs were having a tough time. Near as I could tell, the fish are scattered. Anywere from 6 tp 20 feet deep.
Seth Posted April 5, 2015 Author Posted April 5, 2015 I agree. We caught fish in afew feet of water near brush and off the end of docks suspended over 45' of water. There was no pattern to them that I could figure out.
nomolites Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 I fished the lower end(targeting walleye) and not much better there; I normally always catch crappie but no dice yesterday. I could see twos and threes suspended over deep water.....give it a week or so and they will bunch up. Mike
