Muddy Water Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Went up the Kings to just past the state line; fished for about an hour before I finally caught a White…my first one ever. It was 16.5” and put up a heck of a fight on a light action rod; I think she was making a run for the next county. I was using a white road runner curly tail and was catching a lot of small fish so I switched to a Storm 3 ¼” WildEye curl tail minnow and caught 2 more big Whites; another 16.5” and a 15”. Then someone must have tuned the switch to “off” because for the next hour or so I could not catch anything. It was getting crowded up there anyway so I headed back toward Viola planning on fishing along the way….not; there were boats every where, and lots of them. To crowded for me so I headed home. Water temp was 59 – 60 and fish were caught in 5 to 7’ of water. Phil Lilley, gatorbitu, Sac River Jim and 1 other 4
