I am looking at some property with a dock and wonder how low the lake has gone in the past? I went to the Corps of Engineers website and I found lake level data that goes back to 2010, but not further. With those years is shows it got down to around 1108 in 2012 and 2013.

I want to know how low it could go so I know how it will affect this dock location.

Thanks for any help,

Greg

1092 back in 1977. 1105.3 in March 2006.

Oh if it would have only gone that low this winter.

I'd like to see all of the amphitheater just once in my lifetime. And the old bridge would be a super bonus. I'd wade in muddy boots up to my knees to go see it if I could.

We spent some time at Monte Ne the summer before the lake completely filled. The lake was only out to the mouth of Monte Ne Creek. There was a very clear and cold spring fed pool that the bridge ran over. I wonder if that spring is still active? It was kind of pretty but not hugely impressive. We sat on some of the concrete couches around the pool. There are some good pics on the Shiloh Museum website.

Awesome photo there of the amphitheatre. I like picturing the lake without water when I'm out there. Probably not look much different than any other valley along Hwy 12.
