Got an opening in the boat for a small bass club tournament in the morning out of Mutton Creek. 6:30am to 12:30pm. Will pay entry fee if not i can fish this one solo. Also in the future i'm looking for a good stick as a back up partner. my regular partner is a conductor for the railroad and is on 24/7 call. i fish the wednesday night tourney out of shell knob and friday out of campbell point on the rock and reeves bros, usa bass series and the barton county bass club series. the friday nighter out of state park marina is starting up shortly and can rotate from the campbell point tourney to it. theres also an ABA I fish and you can ride up with me but they draw for back seats so you probly wouldnt fish with me.

Wow srj i greatly envy your ability to fish all of tha. But also really respect the fact that for many many years you probably busted your rear to earn this time. At the moment i work two jobs, go to school full time, and a wife and two kids but one of these days! I have to work tomorrow or i would jump on the chance to fish with you for the learning experience cause i learn tons from what you post. But on the bright side i am taking my daughter up bright and early before church to find some speckled friends then its off to church and then work. Good luck in the morning and hopefully it stays dry!

Well a few years ago id be shocked to hear that but im not now. I think we are just gonna walk the banks though...mainly for that very reason.

sorry gambler i went to bed around 10pm. ended up taking second place and big bass. had a crazy structure shaky bite going. only weighed in 3 fish but they were good quality.

Great job jim i would have been there but i didnt see this in time... i can be your backup partner if you would like i went and bought me a lot of fishing stuff today for bass just let me know...

SRJ, I'd love to fish some with you if our schedules can align. It sounds like the Pomme Saturday night tourneys are not going to happen so I'd love to try some of the Friday nighters up at Stockton. My boat or yours, no difference to me. If you have a last minute need I will PM you my number. I'm going to take quite a bit of time off this summer so I should be fairly flexible during the week to just wet a line. I fished hard this past weekend with a buddy that came down from St Louie, 8 hours on Saturday & 11 hours on Sunday. 8 eyes w/ 2 keepers, all 3 types of bass with over 80 total, maybe 12 keepers with the largest going exactly 5 lbs. Good bite on the shakey head and an under-spin. Out of Mutton both days, never touched Sons this time. Tight Lines!

it sounds great to me i'd like to have you for the friday nighter out of state park marina. theres some pretty salty sticks that fish it but i think you and i can hold our own. waterpossum has been known to show up at the derby too. i seen some big mommas chasing shad out in the middle of a cove but my shakey bite was so hot i didnt grab my swim bait rod out of the rod box. papi and I have developed an awsome underspin head we just got the first prototypes air brushed today and will put the hardware and blades on them tomorrow. ive got 9 in various colors we can try out on friday nights.
