Guest Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Most of the time NO. What we all need to do is pay attention to what you were doing when you got bit and repeat that action looking for additional bites. I was short pitching into shaded dock stalls & letting it free fall to the bottom in10ft. Then slow hop it towards the boat like a crappie jig. Slow was the key, Once it reached the boat I would lift & drop the Ned like a spoon. Slack would curl up when I went to drop the rod tip, then I knew something had the Ned. "No Feel Bite" That's when the school of dink walleyes got fired up. I caught 8 of them in 10 pitches into that stall. Once I finally got hung & pulled up a piece of the brush pile, it was game over.
