If there is a mudline forming in the back of prairie creek, will somebody post it here?

I'm going to burn a vacation day this week if the fishing gets hot.

I noticed a very small mudline forming at the swimming area at prairie creek yesterday.

Are there other areas in the mid lake vicinity that have culverts or heavy runoff from local rain?

Thanks

This was right before the Everette weigh in.

PC does get a mudline so to speak but not like you would think. Its more of a mud along the shore from rain run-off. The creek itself is pretty clean when it hits the lake but brings a lot of nutrients in.

If I was going catfishing I would be all over PC its historically awesome after a good rain. White bass not so much but cats its hard to beat for 1 to 5lb channels.

I'm all about some catfish.

What's the recommended method in PC?

I haven't rod fished for them at beaver.

We caught as many short walleye & keeper crappie as we did bass on the Ned Saturday.

Next time, I'm going with livebait on the Ned head. Around the same Agfc brushpiles until I figure it out.

I might drift a crawler rig, then try to jig fish the docks & brushiles with minnows & crawlers

If that doesn't work, I could always crankbait & swimbait those areas

I went out with my fly rod yesterday and the Carp spawn is full-on in the back of PC- not very muddy as the creeks that feed the cove clear quickly.
