Aggressor1988long Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 All you have to do is clean them put them in your cooler and go back after midnight, geez this is not that hard you should have 30 fillets with 15 crappie by a marker mark your plastic bag put them on ice. What's the big problem? Thats legal.....
Members terryjones Posted May 12, 2015 Members Posted May 12, 2015 sounds like to me that one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing sometimesso from now on I will just take my 15 back to the truck and put them in a cooler on ice so I don't end up with a big fat ticket for having 5 or 6 extra crappie
Members terryjones Posted May 12, 2015 Members Posted May 12, 2015 the problem is when you have one conservation agent tell you one thing and someone else tells you something elsethat's all I'm saying should all be the same
dprice Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I think most would work with you and not against a simple fisherman Dprice priceheatingair.comĀ
Feathers and Fins Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Write The agency and get a written response back, then you know and keep a copy of it with you so if you are checked the warden has the answer from his agency. dprice 1 https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
MOPanfisher Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Or read that portion of the Wildlife Code. Someone posted part of it early on. It isn't difficult to understand, might not agree but it's pretty clear that regardless if it's 1,2 or 10 days worth of fishing you can only have one limit in your immediate possession while on the banks or water of a lake that has limits. If you call the MDC office you seldom talk to an agent, unless you talk to the guys and gals that actually write the tickets be wary of the answers. Mine included. But even on my phone it took me maybe 2 minutes to find the regulation on MDC wrbsite I will see if I can do it again and link it, but may be beyond my abilities. Daily and Possession Limits You may possess no more than the daily limit of any given species while you are on waters, or on the banks of waters, where daily limits for those species apply. Aha, I was correct, it is beyond d my abilities on my phone. However it is listed under daily limits I believe.
hknfsh Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Do you also know that when you reach your limit...you can not keep fishing for the that species ? Unless in a bonifide tournament that allows culling...you can not continue to fish to cull what is already kept in your limit. fishbait3 1
dprice Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 IVe heard that. And several with hunting. I once had a warden for a neighbor. He would have cited his grandmother ! Bunches of laws I don't know I got a warning last week for a expired. Win sheild tag. How ever I had the 3 dollar stub on my dash. Warning read if I didn't purchase a new tag in 7 days a 75.00 fine. Would apply ?? Since I have been to table rock I haven't found a place to purchase one . I called the corp office Friday evening they were out of office. I called Saturday same deal. Members redcatcher68 Posted May 13, 2015 Members Posted May 13, 2015 Hey dprice, what's a "Win sheild tag?" Does that apply on Stockton Lake also?
dprice Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 I believe they call it the annual day use pass for the corp lake and parks. Mine expired on the 15 th. But I had the single day use purchased and visible as ask , not a big deal other than 75.00 plus the yearly permit and then the single use pass also, Knowing I have called them a few times to purchase it. I will run down to cape fair sometime and purchase one. Dprice priceheatingair.comĀ
