Guest Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Tenkiller Lake, Pool elevation is 637.60 feet http://www.swt-wc.usace.army.mil/TENK.lakepage.html Tenkiller Lake jumped 3 feet today. They are not generating right now. I'm sure it will change since they like 632 so much. The flood water coming down the Upper Illinois River has made it to Tahlequah, Ok. http://www.swt-wc.usace.army.mil/webdata/gagedata/TALO2.20150511.html
Ham Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I know some ramps that are NOT usable at that water level. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

Ham Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Which is sort of dumb since I saw debris WAY up on some banks which makes me think it gets some extra water in it from time to time. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

CaptainT16 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Anyone know or think they will keep up this generation through the weekend? I ask as we are coming down from KS this weekend and really wanted to trout fish. I'm guessing they will keep it going, but curious to see what everyone thought. "He told us about Christ's disciples being fisherman, and we were left to assume...that all great fishermen on the Sea of Galilee were fly fisherman and that John, the favorite, was a dry-fly fisherman." - Norman Maclean-A River Runs Through It
DaddyO Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Yes. It will be running all weekend and more, until they get the lake down to 632 ft. DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.
Members GoDoe Posted May 17, 2015 Members Posted May 17, 2015 The river has not been fishable in a month. Right now the water is 6' higher than normal and there is no chance it will fall because of the gates open trying to draw the lake down to normal. Those trout got to be missing the fly fishermen! Maybe by August.
