A little over an inch here in the PC area. Water color was normal out on the lake in this area this morning.

The West fork is now flooded out of it's banks.

1130 is a real possibility

Must have been another one of those fronts that dumped more down south than up here. Maybe an inch here. Lots of wind last night however, and the power got knocked out for about 2 hours.

With Table Rock almost at normal power pool, and Bull Shoals not super high, the Corps likely won't let Beaver get to 1130 unless there is a huge rain event like 2011. I look for them to open the flood gates some if it hits 1128.

2 weeks in a row, the rivers are out of their banks. That's the only reason I thought it might hit 1130.

It would make sense for the COE to start running water real hard this week.

If there is room in Table Rock, the Corps will try hard to keep Beaver well under 1130. Once it hits 1130, there is no flood protection for points immediately downstream, including Holiday Island and several river side homes in the event of a substantial rain over the Beaver watershed. In any event, the current runoff is not enough to go past 1128, considering all the spreading the lake does on the river end. The rise from 1125 to 1128 is amazing a couple of miles upstream from Blue Springs, as it becomes a very spread out lake there instead of a bank full river.

I never thought about the spreading out factor.

It makes sense though.

The water can stay up all summer for all I care.

I need to figure out the river bass after this all stabilizes.
