WeekendWarrior Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Made our annual club tourney this weekend out of KC with boats everywhere with BBB and a high school deal tourney going on. Fished 5:30 to 2:30 Sat. and a delayed start Sunday at 6:15 to 10:30 due to storms. 1st place weight of 19.43 with big bass of 3.74 caught mostly on a shakyhead and spook on flat nothing bank. 2nd place weight of 18.03 all caught on the little rig. Little shout out to Dave for the jig heads, they look great, wish I would have used them more but with weather was chasing the topwater bite to no avail for me.
dtrs5kprs Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Glad you survived the chaos and the weather. Guess the first secret to the little rig is that you actually have to throw it... Ron Burgundy and Hammer time 2
mwfischer Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Our St. Louis club was also at TR this weekend. Two day 6-2p and 6-12p took 31+ to win. (10 fish per day per boat club btw) Great double limit caught by a couple of boats. We finished with 24 and change in 6th. Wife caught 5 really nice keeps across the two days and 20+ shorts all on Dave's little rig heads as well. A thank you to you sir! I think I only lost one throughout the whole weekend!
