Skeeter ZX190 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Got on the water at noon and fished until 8:00 pm. Put in at Orleans Trail and headed across the lake to the east side. We stayed on the east side from there to where Price Branch starts. We fished a total of 5 areas and caught fish at every one. We ended up with 75 to 80 bass total with 14 being keepers. Caught most of them on the Ned rig but also caught quite a few on a jig & craw in Missouri craw with a paca chunk in Alabama craw. The Ned rig was a 1/16 ounce with a green pumpkin Zero. Water temps were 68 to 69 degrees. Caught all of them fairly shallow in 3 to 12 feet of water. One of the best days I've ever had on Stockton. Most of them were smallmouths. We had an 18 inch smallmouth, three 17 inch smallmouths, and several 15 1/2 to 16 inch smallmouths. DOITLOOKIT, 5bites, blacknoseddace and 3 others 6
Dutch Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 That is quite a day. Is the moss still bad or has it started turning loose?
Skeeter ZX190 Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 Had no problem with moss. One of the coves we went into had a lot of it floating on the surface.
Skeeter ZX190 Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 Never tried. I didn't see any surface activity.
