Members Kdub Posted May 26, 2015 Members Posted May 26, 2015 Packersooner, Boobie, thanks for all the advice. I think I have a better grasp on the situation. I can't wait to go try with a little more knowledge. Ok. A few more things I need to adjust. I have probably had my bouncer on the bottom to much and I've been just dropping it as fast as it would drop. And I should check my rig more often after getting and missing a bite. I don't know how many times I've reeled up to find a mangled crawler. And as Boobie said I need to move along and cover more when I'm not catching. Once again thank you!
rangerman Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 All of the great above advise...remember whether trolling cranks, slow death or spinner rigs, walleye are notorious followers. Dropping the rod tip no matter what you are doing can initiate a strike.
Boobie Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Walleyedmike is a slowdeath guy, he might be able to add something. I think he is on the lake now. He knows a trick or 2.
