Members cerckson Posted May 24, 2015 Members Posted May 24, 2015 I am needing to get some work done on my boat motor. Looking for a reputable shop that does good work and stands behind there work. I am having issues with my 115 hp Evinrude that I have on my 24' pontoon. Got to the ramp yesterday and the darn thing wouldn't crank. It's something electrical I think. Just figured I would ask here seeing all you folks are way more informative about this stuff. Thanks in advance. <img src="<a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://i1346.photobucket.com/albums/p690/cerickson1978/DSCN3005_zpsdc76c1e1.jpg'>http://i1346.photobucket.com/albums/p690/cerickson1978/DSCN3005_zpsdc76c1e1.jpg"</a>alt="DSCN3005_zpsdc76c1e1.jpg"> Just an ole construction worker that likes to tractor pull. waterpossum Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 I have had good luck at Bass Pro-Tracker on S. Campbell in Springfield. 417-887-3832.
Members Moskeeter Posted May 24, 2015 Members Posted May 24, 2015 There should be an inline fuse on that older OMC motor. I always kept spares in my boat for that reason. you might check for a blown fuse, will save you money in the long run. Post in the boat help section.
Aggressor1988long Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 I would recommend josh butler. He rebuilt my 1974 115 merc carbs did an excellent job tell him jason long sent you Sac River Jim 1
Members Moskeeter Posted May 24, 2015 Members Posted May 24, 2015 Check by the starter solenoid, there is an inline fuse holder with a glass type fuse inside. I'm betting it has blown, easy and inexpensive fix.
