I went out for a little over an hour tonight, and then got chased off the water due to a squall. Nothing positive to report. Just a few head shakes from bass on a trick worm. I marked fish but couldn't fool them. I didn't see any debris around Prairie Creek area.

Mike, I'm heading out today after, or if, this rain passes. I'll launch out of prairie creek when I do.. There's lots of fish in the area. Or at least they was Tuesday.

I will be out of Prairie Creek tomorrow afternoon also, have to play with the idle for a bit then get some fishing in. How is the ramp there, have they moved the dock?

I am working on getting permission to fish some large farm ponds, since the lakes and streams are so messed up. This weather has not affected most pond fishing in a bad way. Beaver can wait several weeks.

I've been hitting a lot of ponds. Fished one in Bentonville last night, after dark. We fished buzz baits mainly, my buddy's was making a little bit more of a whistling noise and the bass seemed to be more into his. I was getting one bite to his 4. post-17558-0-62151600-1432855787.jpg

Did pretty good in the prairie creek area. Got some nice spots from 5-730. Then got several whites, hybrids and even a couple of keeper striper later in the evening. All top water action.
