Looks like we are cleared to begin increasing outflow today, up to 2000 CFS. Unsure with the long range forecast for heavy rains in Kansas and Northern MO how long we will be able to maintain the releases. While the rain likely won't directly affect us it will indirectly affect our ability to release by increasing the flow into the Osage and Missouri Rivers. As always we will have to wait and see.

I would guess that at this rate we would be down about a foot by Friday night, maybe slightly more.

ok. So not much difference. Is there still debris and logs floating around? We are heading down this weekend and are debating if we leave the tube home so the kids are not tempted to tube and get impailed by a stick.

It's not bad except for the upper ends. Once the lake starts to drop the logs will ground out wherever the wind has pushed them. It's up to you on the tube a little common sense on where you pull them will go a long way. But there is always something floating around it seems like.

Had a report today of quite a bit of debris floating in the lake on the Pomme side from near Wheatland Landing up river. South wind and releases will likely push it further down. Be aware.

Oh we did. The Pomme River got up to around 10K CFS last night, but the Lindley Creek exploded to about 24K, rains hit right, so we are gonna pop up even with our outflow. We will definitely lose a few campsites but will have to wait and see what the Tropical Storm does to us. Hopefully we don't get another hit like last night or even worse.
