jpb2187 Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Hey Guys, Going to be taking my first trip to Carlyle lake with my family for a little camping trip next weekend. Never fished the lake before. I would like to target some LMB. How does te lake usually fish this time of year? What is the most prevalent cover and structure types? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
jpb2187 Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 Well scratch that... wrong lake - we're going to Rend Lake.
jdmidwest Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 I have friends that target the white bass this time of year. They use inline spinners, silver blades and red feathers. Look for feeding schools with activity on the surface. Both lakes fish about the same I am told, but have no actual experience.
