I'm beginning to hope I DON'T win it or you guys will think it was rigged... :P

John... When I win the rod, I'll let you and Don watch me fish with it... and I'll even let you use it long enough to catch one stocker, damselfly...

Hey Michael... a calendar of events of store activities maybe? Might be a good place to get the word out on things like the streamer seminar... and (selfish subliminal suggestion) half-price sales... Even club meetings around the area (MTFA, SWMFF, Mako, TU, etc.)

Great idea Terry!

Michael...

I have never been to one of your seminars, is there anything I need to bring besides something to haul that rod home in???:lol::lol:

I am really looking forward to it... I have a trip planned in June to Maine to flyfish for smallmouth amd salmon. I have not used a flyrod for about 10 years or so and need all the advise I can get between now and then. See you there and I hope to meet some of the jokers from this site. I get several good laughs a day from here.

Thank you all for the feed back and hope to see you all on the 15th

Some of your suggestions may take a while though becuase some of the stuff is HTML stuff and I'm just learning how to write html. I think that the quikest way may be just to get IT guy in here and hammer it out.

Nice site Michael.

My suggestions.

1. add the tab to the home page (home, fishing reports, guide services, catalog, your acount, contact us) adding this info to the bottom would not clutter the page.

2. Fishing reports don't list a target species

3. a link to mapquest showing the store location

4. maybe a photo gallery or place for site guest to post.

Good luck...........and add me to the drawing list. I need a reason to visit Springfield.

Well it looks like I will have to miss this one as well. My wife's grandad is having back surgery so I will be at home with my three girls. Heck I don't need another new rod anyway, go ahead and give it to Terry :( .

First I had to miss the TU meeting because one of my store managers had a new baby girl, now I have to miss this one because of my girls. I'm telling you guys that these women are out to get us!!

Just bring the girls with you. Belive me mine have been in here a lot at night. I belive that they have been in here enough that someone has called child labor on me(LOL).

You do not have to bring anything with you except an open mind, because just beacuse that is how we fish does not mean that it is set in stone and that is the only way it can be done.

I'm sure there is more than one way to skin a streamer.

Hope to see everyone

Well if I brought them I would probably leave with a bunch of new rods. They would all be broke in half though . The 13 & 8 year olds, yeah no problem, we would be there. The 3 year old, ain't gonna happen.

Michael-

I agree that the website looks good. I appreciate all that it offers. One suggestion is to include a picture of your shop. It may help with publicity. You may want to even include a picture of yourself and wife.

Anyway,I look forward to the seminar on Friday and an chance at winning a new rod. That would be a great way to start the 2007 season.
