Whites and Wallies

Anyone started fishing the sac river outside of Aldrich on stockton. I know the walleye should start going up in it since we have water this year. I'm just ready for the white bass to make their annual run up to the New Orleans Bridge and Taylor Bridge.

Can you get into some walleye on the little sac and tributaries of stockton? I would appreciate it if anyone would share a little bit of this information about the whites and walleyes there...obviously not asking for anyones "secret spots". General when and where would be great. Do you fly fish for walleye? If so, what do you use in general? Thanks.

I haven't made the drive yet, but I will in the next few weeks. The weather is just getting right and all of the rivers are flowing good.

I actually decided to go to day since it was so nice. My bud and I both had limits of whites with some blacks and keeper walleye. We caught some below the bridge and some above it. Most of the fish were in the grass.

I may have to bank fish because of the wind but I think I might go back tomorrow.

when you say you were above the bridge, do you mean the Aldrich bridge or farther up the river by the Orleans Bridge (Big Iron Bridge) or up near taylor. That good that they have started up the river already. Appreciate the info and i'll see yall down there.

What ever that bridge by the unloading place is called. I only went a little ways upstream.
