Members Jordan2352 Posted July 7, 2015 Members Posted July 7, 2015 Hello all I'm new to the lake and me and a buddy wanted to try it out are there any places we can bank fish and are almost certain to catch some fish like a fishing dock or anything any help would be great thanks
waterpossum Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 The lake is about 7' above normal level at present making bank fishing very difficult and limited. There is a fishing dock at Ruark Recreation area on the east side. Take H highway north out of Greenfield about 9 miles to get there. Some of the rip-rap around the various bridges might hold the best fishing, but it's kind of hard walking to.
dprice Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Camp ground offer the best bank fishing in mind. Mutton is excellent. Roark is excellent pic your camp spot very economical! Crabtree Is good. Masters is closed so you will have the whole place to your self. Better be sure to hit that one ! If you have the desire Bob Bennett has a wealth of knowledge and he will take you out to some secret spots Dprice priceheatingair.comĀ

Walleyedmike Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Is masters the dock on the corps of engineers road? Masters is off of Hwy 32 south and east of Stockton the road you turn off on is marked with a sign for Masters campground. I thiink it's RA road maybe? Both sides of the mile long bridge on Hwy 215 is worth trying as well. I think there is a fishing dock at Crabtree Cove as well?? Good luck! WM
