Members Dougie Posted July 16, 2015 Members Posted July 16, 2015 Was able to drive down and check the river in a few spots. Took a few photos and thought I would share with all my fellow anglers that might be itching to get out there and do a little floating / fishing. Current Levels at Boaz are discharge of 1340 cu ft per sec. and a gauge height of 4.58. On with the pics...... a pic is worth a thousand words and I dislike typing ) Highway 14 Bridge looking down river Highway 14 looking up river Delaware town Ramp, you can see the river is getting some clarity, it is still moving fast but manageable. Delaware Ramp looking down river. Delaware ramp up river. You can tell by the curb underwater the clarity is returning, I would say the river is still more brown than the normal green. Nelsons Bridge looking up river. Nelsons Bridge Looking down river I plan on traveling from Delaware to Shelvin Rock on Saturday and will give a fishing report after. There was a slight amount of debris on the surface but it appeared minimal. I hope this helps fellow forum members who might be preparing to float, Be safe, Tight Lines, Big Smiles! Phil Lilley 1

Members Dougie Posted July 17, 2015 Author Members Posted July 17, 2015 No problem Yaknar I've been called a lot worse. Sounds great Junkie! Hope to see you there, we are getting an early start both have camo fs 10 ascends and going to try to take chainsaw or bow saws and do any trimming we need to make the river safe. I was actually thinking about you two when I was typing and sharing!

There is no need for a chainsaw, so hopefully I can save you some weight issues. Dougie 1

We didn't fish. the water was too high and still pretty dirty. It was just a trip to relax and have fun with my son, looking for rocks on gravel bars was the main event, lol. Dougie 1
