I would imagine basically that your girlfriend got in a lot more cast than you did. She also ( maybe without realizing it) was tuning into the fish. You should have put something similar on and fished it. Only thing you did messing with everything in the box was blow your concentration.

Fish mojo would be freakin sweet....seems like i try wayyy too hard and spend wayyy too much money (according to some) for incredibly modest results.

I don't know, sure they were biting what she was casting out, but you figure, there's bound to be times where you need to (and should be able to) find something else they're biting on after so much practice. It just baffled my mind that nothing else worked until that lone bass finally hooked himself on that crankbait near the end, that day.
