Fishrman Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Fished club tourney out of H and weighed 5 for 9.65 finished 4th or 5th caught fish on variety of lures Carolina rig, spoon, big crank, slow rolled spinner. Pretty tough day had to really grind to catch those. Codywskeeter1521 1
Champ188 Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Some days it comes easy, but more times than not you have to grind. Way to keep your head down and beat out a limit. Pretty rewarding in retrospect when you catch 5 of your weigh-in fish on four different lures. Codywskeeter1521 1
Fishrman Posted July 20, 2015 Author Posted July 20, 2015 Yes it was, and I was glad we weighed in at 2:30. I had had enough by 12:30. But caught 2 more keepers after 1:00. I was tired and hot. Champ188 1
Sprint21fter Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Fished same club and fished kc area, lost big fish by a couple of hundreths and a check by 1/2 a pound due to a deep hooked fish that died early in the day we ended up at around 13 1/2 lbs showed one of the high school kids to either fish for quality or numbers it wasn't easy but we had a great time Champ188 1
