joeD Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Levels seem good, now, temporarily. Have time off this week. Anyone seen or fished it in the last couple days?
Members Otis Roostertail Posted July 21, 2015 Members Posted July 21, 2015 My son and I went up crooked creek Saturday from the White River. It was still up a little; however, the water was still very cloudy. I called it "milkshake" on Saturday. We tossed a few spinner baits with no luck.We went back out to the White and switched back to trout fishing....Tonight we got more rain and more is forecasted.... Otis Men and Fish are alike....They all get into trouble when they open their mouths....
curtisce Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Fished upper CC Monday, Clear Creek to Snow Good floating level, I fish in a 17 ft aluminium paddle john but we made it fine had to walk it thru some of the riffles. Good water color, not clear maybe 3ft vis. Aborted a 2 days float because of forecast rain for Monday PM and Tues AM. Hit a storm between Harrison and Branson going home. 30mph wind and a downpour. Would have hated to be out in something like that, The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check
Members rhondafish Posted July 23, 2015 Members Posted July 23, 2015 Where is the Clear Creek Put In? How far is it between Clear Creek and Snow? Thanks
curtisce Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Clear Creek is about 2 miles down from 62 bridge. It's on the south side so you enter on of county road 4010 also called Patterson Cemetary. These are unimproved access. There one by the cemetary and then also at the low water bridge at clear Creek. wouldn't suggest using them if you are expectng a ramp access like 62 bridge. The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check
