vonreed Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 I went fishing tonight and fished from Swan creek up to the dam. I only had 2 bites for the 3 hours I was there, only caught 1 walleye. It was the biggest one I've ever caught though so I was happy. But I haven't caught many. Anyone else have a report?
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 7, 2007 Root Admin Posted February 7, 2007 Everybody all together now... "How big was it??" It was way too nice for me to get out and fish... come on!
Fishin' Freak Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 How big was she???? Did you catch her on a stickbait?
polock Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 how far of a drive is bull shoals dam from brason??
Terry Beeson Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Everybody all together now... "How big was it??" OK... HOW BIG WAS IT? It is about a 20 minute drive. From Branson to Bull Shoals DAM? What route are you taking? Polock... he's talking about Powersite Dam...Near Forsyth, MO. vonreed Posted February 7, 2007 Author Posted February 7, 2007 I know I'm likely to get drilled for keeping it because I know how some people act like fish are their children, but I figure I catch a lot less than they do overall. It was 10 lbs 12 oz 30 inches. Stickbait though personally I have better luck with soft plastics.
Terry Beeson Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 If you enjoy a fine meal of that fish, then you are fine in my book... Now if you didn't get any PICTURES of it and/or don't post them here, then you are on my list... SOUNDS like a nice pheesh... Fishin' Freak Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Sorry Terry---I was thinking of Powersite not the Bull Shoals Dam. It is only a 20 minute drive to Powersite.
powerdive Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Good for you, vonreed! I love walleyes as much as anyone, but I sure as heck won't begrudge anyone's right to keep a legal fish. Especially a trophy.
