Bgctrading Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Going up near fristoe tommorow. Any crappie reports?
MOPanfisher Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Truman close to 10 feet high, lots of water coming down the river out of pomme, hot and sweaty. Man it could be either feast or famine. The bluff on the west side of the PowerLine would be a starting point. Might be some whites and hybrids around too. Haven't heard many reports from truman lately.
Members decoded Posted July 26, 2015 Members Posted July 26, 2015 Not Fristoe, but my sons went out Tues while I was slaving away providing for them and brought home a mess of crappie and white bass. They caught them all between G8 & G10 in Cedar trees 15' down in 20' of water. They "claimed" they caught most of them on 2" blue & chartreuse jigs, along with some on minnows, but they sometimes even keep their secrets from me! Ungrateful as they are, lol.
Bgctrading Posted July 26, 2015 Author Posted July 26, 2015 Lol. That is what I've heard but can't catch them from the couch.
brian prewitt75 Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Caught these on Truman yesterday, 2 of us had 28. Spoony Slayr
MOPanfisher Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Nice. Hope more truman reports keep showing up. Truman has always been pretty quiet on here. slab slinger 1
Members decoded Posted July 26, 2015 Members Posted July 26, 2015 I agree. I know many of us on here fishTruman at least occasionally... My oldest son works at Everharts and is active on Crappie.com. I'll ask him to post some of what he hears/she's here. slab slinger 1
