Fishing report and hot spots request

My son and I are coming to the Pomme for the first time this weekend. We will be at stillwater resort and arrive Thursday night. I'm looking for a place in the Ozarks for a vacation spot. Table rock is too expensive. I have heard good things about the Pomme.

I like Pomme de Terre and mostly fish from the bank. Have seen several places by the Dam and over on the East side. Ideal spot is between Pomme de Terre and Truman Lakes, had a place like this Loved it.

Now have a place by Bennett Spring and by Truman Lake. Both places are nice.

Haven't looked into Land Prices or just cost but I really like Forsyth, between Taneycomo and Bull Shoals.

Oh seen you was wanting a place in the Ozarks. To me Pomme de Terre is not really the Ozarks, to me not the Hills.

Pomme area is a great vacation place. If your wanting convience, 10 miles south of the lake is Bolivar, a town of 10,000 with everything you need. On the north side is Wheatland and Hermitage. Both small towns where you can find weekend lake homes at an affordable price. If your just looking for camping areas, Nemo, Damsite, Wheatland have good areas.
