8/15 Windsor

Went after the early top water bite with my trusty Tiny Torpedo this morning. Caught four, three just below 13 inches and one at 17", add in a couple of bluegill and it was a good trip. They were not hitting aggressive, just kinda swallowing the lure. Nice watching a couple of raccoons working the bank and then a fox came trotting by as well.

Good deal.  I like to throw a 5" Senko rigged wacky style at those surfacing fish.

You hit on something that a lot of people miss. I'm as serious about my fishing as anyone and work at it on and off the water, but I don't miss the opportunity these days to pause and watch the wildlife around me. It's just part of the whole experience for me.
