Does anyone know of any good crappie flies to catch some crappie on? I plan on going this weekend and what part of the lake are they biting on?

Thanks

Probably be fine.   Color does matter to crappie but if Red/white is all you have.....try it.    Actually if you have a white bucktail then you have Tan also.  :).  Tan/white would be a solid choice also I'd think. You can also use a Sharpie marker on the white to make just about any color you want.  It'll bleed out after a bit but it will work for awhile.

The river channel ?    Here is a topo map, just Zoom in the area in question.

I guess, IF they weigh about 1/50 oz.   You gotta have some weight to get the jiggy effect I think.  Hollow bead chain doesn't have that IMO, but you can certainly try it.
