linda and i got out for a bit last night to enjoy the moon, but hardly go to see it.  fished back up this way, and did not do too bad for here.  ended up with five keeps.  the biggest one was on a 1/2 SpinJig, 3 on a 1/2 jig, and 1 on a jig with a beaver style soft plastic.  depth was about 10 on flats.  had for or five shorts.  quit at 1 am.

Bo & Linda, nice pics. Good to see the night bite still on. I watched the moon on my drive down from STL last night and then it disappeared when we got to our house here at TR.  I thought I would get a chance to sit on the deck and have a few pops with my wife enjoying the moon too, but only clouds. It was still a nice evening. I hope to get out in the morning near the dam.

Bo, how did you work the spin jig?

most of the time, i crank a few times and then stop and let it swing toward you, and this is most often when the bite occurs.  there are times that steady cranking works.  one of those things you just have to change around until you find what is getting strikes.  i often change blade sizes too.
