Members Curtis5 Posted August 31, 2015 Members Posted August 31, 2015 Put in at Big M on Saturday morning and took out around 2PM. It was the first trip I have made to Table Rock in well over a month. Water temp was 78-83 Fished main lake, secondary points, and a few docks. Threw a spinner bait, spook, drop shot, and jig. Ended up with 3 keepers. 1 on a spook, 1 on a drop shot, and 1 on a jig. 7-8 short fish. All on a drop shot except for 1 on a jig. Drop shot fish were mostly bottom related, near brush in 25'35' FOW. I was really expecting a better morning bite with the cloud cover but I did not get much started till about 9AM. I know it's a couple days late but hopefully this helps some. merc1997 Bo 1
Bgctrading Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I am going to be near indian point for 4 days this weekend. And all these reports are so hit and miss.
m&m Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I hope to be out there in the dam area this weekend also. I'll be in the maroon and silver Ragin Cajun with the 150 Johnson. A couple of weeks ago had success on the bluff ends and transition banks. it appears the water temperature will be in the mid to high 70s this weekend so i hope to see some top water action. Good luck in the Indian Point area. I love that cove and the coves on either side. Mike
Bgctrading Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Thanks. We have had a house down there for years and always just played. But we are starting to get more and more interested in the fishing down there.
