M_Taylor Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Put in around 5. Water temp was around 84. Fished for bass the whole time. Between my buddy and I we landed at least 2 dozen Ks and LM. Nothing very large but it was fun nonetheless. 95% were on topwater. Tried two types of topwater and they both worked equally as well. All were caught within a very small area. The wind was tough tonight but we found some calmer water. Once it got dark, nothing was happening. Enclosed is a pic of what the bass are eating. Dan the fisherman and fisherofmen11 2
J-Doc Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 One would think that size bait would make a good spoon bite. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Quillback Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Good stuff, great to hear that the TW bite is going.
fisherofmen11 Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Nice report. I got out at the same time but I had my two nephews with me so not much bass fishing. We caught a couple of crappie and a small bluegill. I could not resist to go into one cove like area an throw some top water and all got was short strikes and swipes. I should have Downsized. I was throwing med sized Zaraspook.
Dan the fisherman Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Thanks for report. I haven't go into them like that in a while. Glad to hear some is though. ?
