Members flyfishfan781 Posted February 14, 2007 Members Posted February 14, 2007 i have noticed everytime i go down to taneycomo the huge amount of wood ducks on taneycomo is there anywhere to hunt on it.
Randall Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 if you're talking about the trophy area, i would doubt it. i have a tendency of "shooting" them with my flyrod, but i don't think it'd be a good idea to bring a shotgun. Cute animals taste better.
Members flyfishfan781 Posted February 14, 2007 Author Members Posted February 14, 2007 are there any conservation areas with public duck hunting down there?

duckydoty Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 I have repeatedly talked with the conservation department and the Branson police department about this and you are allowed to hunt on Taney from KOA down to the Hwy 65 bridge then again from Roark Creek on down. You can actually get away with hunting infront of the landing but they would prefer you didn't. Now if you do hunt all of those stretches you might get yelled at quite abit, but it is legal. There are some very good spots to set up a boat blind below Roark Creek. Not to many spots I would feel safe hunting abouve Hwy 65. duckydoty A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
Don Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 if you're talking about the trophy area, i would doubt it. i have a tendency of "shooting" them with my flyrod, but i don't think it'd be a good idea to bring a shotgun. I've heard stories of flyfishermen leaving the area because of someone who did a little shooting up there. Is it legal? Don May Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
