Jdecoudres Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 How is this river fishing? Never fished this river before can anyone tell me if I can float this in a drift boat. Could you please advise where to put in and out this time of year. Thanking of trying it Saturday. I guess is it worth my drive over there this time of year? Thanks for the help and input.
Ham Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Justin Spencer is the man. I would call Sunburst Ranch and ask him about current conditions. IF we get a heavy rain that may screw things up, but in general, Yes, you can certainly use and enjoy the drift boat. Trout eat all year. I'm confident the trout will bite. I don't know how far your drive is, but I would think it is worth the drive. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
sean c Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 The fall is a little hit or miss and the river is low and clear but doable in a drifter. Just spent 4 days there the leaves are starting to change it is a great time to float there. Stay at sunburst do Kelly to sunburst one day and sunburst to the landing the next. You will see all of the trout portion of the river on these two floats.
