Members Duke 59 Posted November 2, 2015 Members Posted November 2, 2015 I don't live around here, but I am currently visiting to look at some land to possibly build a house and then move here. My question is if the weather has been cold enough yet in order to control the chiggers out in the woods. This summer when I was last here, if I didn't have a lot of bug spray on, I would be eaten alive. What do you think.....heavy bug spray or not? Thanks for any input
Stump bumper Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 There has not been a frost yet, so if you are in a chigger/tick infested area I would use the bug spray. I have not been in the woods or feilds this summer so I may not be the best one to ask.
fishinwrench Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I haven't seen a tick on my dog in quite awhile, pretty sure they are gone for the year. Same with chiggers.
Vinsott Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 My neighbor just harvested a buck today and it was full of ticks.
