The Valle of Ste. Genevieve team won another small school state championship easily.  Although I live in Ste. Gen County I don't pay much attention to the high schools there (or anywhere else, for that matter), but they are simply amazing.  Smallest classification, playing a number of bigger schools in conference, and they are now undefeated in their last 45 games and have won three straight state championships.  During the regular season and districts, they won by an average score of 63-6...their lowest point total was 42 (winning at Potosi 42-3) and their closest game was with rival Ste. Gen public school, 51-22.  They had problems in the state touurnament, only beating Thayer 17-10 and Marceline 16-13, but that was because they had two key players hurt and unable to play (and being a class 1 school, they don't HAVE many players--nearly everybody plays both ways).  But they pounded  Penney 61-36, and only a couple of late TDs by Penney made it that close.

This was, I believe, their 13th state championship.  Several of my nephews have played for them in the past and done very well.

That's tough. Was surprised that Webb City lost. Man those people can pitch a fit when they lose. Never have met any of the kids that play for Webb City but they are probably like all the other high school players for the most part. But their fan base has some real turds in it. Never seen so many overly arrogant rude people at a high school football game. There are a couple of area schools that are really close though. :)
