Members Ken Drish Posted November 16, 2015 Members Posted November 16, 2015 Got out Friday - Sunday this past weekend. A little chilly and rainy, but great fishing. Fish were schooling and gorging themselves on shad on most points/flats that I fished. Many would surprise me with a gift of regurgitated shad as I was bringing them on the boat The majority of the fish were spots - caught 27 on Sunday in all - only about 4 keepers and 3 LM. It's a great time to fish the lake! Almost all fish came on a Gunfish. Nice scenery as well! magicwormman 1
m&m Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Ken, nice report, fat fish. I fished a couple of spots around the dam on Friday and Saturday for a total of about 4 hours and did not get bit at all. Fish were on the graph in the 20-30' range. I was experimenting with a drop shot as I am just learning to use it. This weekend for me was to gain experience with the drop shot. I now have a feel for it. Of course it would have been nice if some fish wanted to bite it while I was experimenting, but oh well maybe another day. Sounds like the guys up the rivers had a good weekend. Mike
wareaglecamo Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 nice photos! makes me want to reach for my rod . . . It's very reassuring for me to know that AT LEAST 2 LC "GUNFISH" have been purchased since they were introduced :-(
