Jdecoudres Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Was wondering if a drift boat will work in this river in the middle of Dec. one day floating the trout part and one day floating the small mouth part. Got g do two day float and ca,p but didn't know if this river was good to go for drift boat or if I would need a kayake thanks
Gavin Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 You should be fine anywhere below Greer Spring.
Brian Sloss Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 I guide the river out of a drift boat, like Gavin said, anything below Greer is fine. Ham 1 www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497
Jdecoudres Posted November 25, 2015 Author Posted November 25, 2015 So is below geer where I could find both trout and smallmouth on a fly rod?
Gavin Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Yes...We floated Greer to Turner right before deer season and caught both. Didn't catch a pickerel for the slam though.
Brian Sloss Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 How did the trip turn out? www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497
