Wet Weekend at Holiday Island

Fished in the rain this past Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tough to stay dry and warm, but I think I had most of the lake to myself! Water temp hovered in the low-mid 50's and despite all of the rain, seemed to stay pretty clear. Didn't catch a lot, but got some nice quality fish on the Whopper Plopper and RK Crawler. I think that may have been the last weekend I can get them on topwater for a while.

Ken, thanks for the report.  nice pictures.  I threw the same RC on Wednesday near Bridgeport and caught a few but all under legal size.  No takers for me on the WP though.
