Thats some mouthful & serious hook. Seems too large until you look down the mouth of a 16 lbr. Way to go!

I lost a 5lb bass (tried to swing it in the boat like a dummy) and it ate a gizard that big.  I've also caught a 3.5lb bass eating gizards that big.

I found some small 6 to 8 in sucker today , so I will be out in the morning trying them out. I will let u know if they work

I've use them with mixed results.  I normally have a few mixed in with the brooders, but this year I haven't had or needed to. But please let me know how it goes for u.  I'd like another point of view/perspective/ opinion .

I think the same way, I will try them but first choice will be large Shad, I will run three rods one with shad and two with the suckers. See which get hooked up first maybe 4 rods lol
