dan hufferd Posted December 7, 2015 Author Posted December 7, 2015 The 3rd video is from a different time (see time stamp) I could not figure out how to remove it from this new entry.
LoweSTX175 Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 At least you had some decent weather and didn't have to bust ice to get out there. I'm going to be down south during the week of Christmas. Hopefully I can catch a few days with decent temps without heavy winds to get out there.
dan hufferd Posted December 7, 2015 Author Posted December 7, 2015 They wouldn't even look at a bottom bouncer, vertical jig was the only thing working on steep brakes. We had a lot of cold rain so I think the lake cooled quickly. I bet it will pick back up when everything get acclimated. It was tough, I am going for a walleye for every month...we will see what happens.
LoweSTX175 Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 I was planning on doing some vertical jigging using either feathered jigs or spoons. About how deep were the ones you picked up?
dan hufferd Posted December 7, 2015 Author Posted December 7, 2015 Suspended over 45 FOW @ 30' just off a steep chunk rock brake, they were moving around a lot, many would appear to follow the bait and then move off. I think the profile of my lipless crank bait was a little large. I have some ideas for next time.
