Guest Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 My wife was lucky tonight. She crossed the west fork bridge around noon today, but on her way home after dark, it was under water with no caution tape. She turned around on the Molly Wagnon bridge & went around. There should be RR crossing lights that go off at a certain gauge height to warn drivers as they approach deadly flash floods. 15ft on the west fork gauge seems to be the magic number.
Quillback Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Glad to hear your wife stayed out of that water. Just got back in from walking the dog and it is still raining. Looks like Beaver has gained close to a foot of water in the last day, probably will come up some more on top of that.
Guest Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 I fished around hickory creek today & it rained the whole time.

Where the Kings River and other branches cross. Not the one way up in the air. That would be Noah's bridge level. Champ188 1 Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. Champ188 Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Ah, OK ... don't get out there much and didn't think about that one. I too had visions of Noah's ark in reference to the big bridge.
Guest Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Has anybody fished beaver in the winter when it tops the dam? Has that ever happened? This El Nino is going to be the strongest we've seen in decades.
J-Doc Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Not I. Would be quite interesting yet scary for people down river in Eastern AR when the spring rains come. Need marine repair?
