mhowerton Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Still slow around here. Two teal right after shooting hours and nothing in the sky after that. Doesn't look like much change in the weather in the next week either. moodyfour, JohnP and BilletHead 3
BilletHead Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Hey that will work! Greenwings need loving too. Actually one of the best tasting birds. Unlike thin skinned bluewings these teal have a thick white fat layer of skin. My favorite bird for charcoal grilling. Thanks for posting Mhowerton. mhowerton Posted December 20, 2015 Author Posted December 20, 2015 Green wings are very tasty and fun to hunt. I just wish there were more of them around. Very few ducks around in our area. We usually have a decent amount by now, but with no real weather if any ducks are here they are spread thin. But a morning watching the sun come up over the decoys is well spent. Merry Christmas. moodyfour, tho1mas and BilletHead 3
