Who is willing to admit they are fishing this year's Polar Bear?

Was that the year where clothes were allegedly removed in a less than modest fashion?

That year or the year after.  You were sweating like a pig in a blanket and stripped down to your Under Armor to shed some layers.  Lol!  I just kept fishing out of the back of the boat and minded my own business.  Lol

Stump- I guess I might have one foot in the 'nascar' side of fishing. My tourney partner's boat is wrapped in 'Chevy of Fayetteville'..Chevy brought me and my daughter on board this year to have a presence in the Everett team trail.

I am looking forward to the FLW this year on Beaver!  Should be more wide open from the back of the boat with high water. Agree??

I agree with the more wide open for the back of the boat. The problem most people have with the back of the boat is adapting to doing the opposite of the front of the boat. For example if the "Pro" is flipping docks or brush then I would drag a jig out 90 degrees from him in open water and hope to bump something unseen and so forth. It is a hard to think of the front as fishing against you at the same time having respect for a man's job. I have always wanted to prove myself in that seat and will one day do it. In any tournament I always enjoy the back better, all you have to do is fish !

I've thrice entertained entering an FLW event as a co-angler.

With the right draw, I figure the entry fee would be well traded for fishing knowledge.

2 main concerns have kept me from it:

1. Drawing two days' of pros that are either having a bad time, or are just plain mean.

2. Heaven forbid I lost a fish out of the net for them. I have yet to lose a fish due to a netting error, but can only imagine how bad I would feel if I lost a pros fish.

Perfect example of why I fish the Polar Bear every year.

The memoires and fun stories are priceless.

On number 1

Didn't you fish with J-Doc more than once?

and sometimes your reason number two can be justified by reason number 1

Actually, this event occurred during the first Everett Series tournament in very early spring.  Remember?  We chunked A-rigs all day long and I finally got one good one off the corner of a dock and was happy to have fish to weigh in. :P

But I agree........good memories. Lots of fun times.
