Guest Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Since Im bored & its cold, I might get out this weekend & drive around the rivers. The white river has a USGS temperature gauge at twin bridges, so thats already done for you. But there are no current photos of the water color. So, I'm thinking war eagle, point 12, blue springs, side walk hole & hickory creek.
J-Doc Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Definitely not disrespectful intent by me. Simple question, how often is it updated. I thought it was live already or near about. I will most definitely help him by giving water temp info. Had I known he was doing it all by himself, I would have already volunteered to help. I missed that previously or just forgot about it. As stated earlier, I very much appreciate his efforts and support it. So....I will definitely give him info. I thought someone was making a joke by asking someone to drive around the lake and "let everyone know". Apologies. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Champ188 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 On 1/15/2016 at 6:47 PM, Dan the fisherman said: Annually ? ^^^ This is the reply I was referring to as sarcastic. Ben will tell you that I've invited him to go fishing with me and we are working on a date. So I'm 110% onboard with what he's doing. Done with this thread.
dtrs5kprs Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 It's a brilliant, game changing idea. Just loaded the app for the new phone I was badgered into buying. Still not crazy about the phone, but the app is super easy to use. Even if it does not go fully live for a bit, it is pretty easy to do a little fancy guesstimating as to the current trend in temps. It is the lake wide starting point that is invaluable.
Guest Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Its 44 degrees up the white river, which is up 5 degrees from earlier this week. http://waterdata.usgs.gov/ar/nwis/uv?cb_00060=on&cb_00065=on&cb_00010=on&format=gif_default&site_no=07048600&period=&begin_date=2016-01-08&end_date=2016-01-15
J-Doc Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 47-48 at Rocky Branch marina. Warmed up to 48 with sun, should drop back down to 46 overnight. Need marine repair?
