Members dochollow Posted February 15, 2016 Members Posted February 15, 2016 I turned 65 last august, so if my information is correct I am no longer required to purchase a fishing license in the the state of Missouri. but I still have to buy a trout stamp. now if I want to fish in Arkansas I will still have to buy an Arkansas license & trout stamp! if my feeble brain is still making synapsis,
Terrierman Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 When I hit 60 I bought lifetime Missouri hunting and fishing permits. That means daily trout tags only if fishing in trout parks, trout stamp is included. On the hunting side, still have to get deer and turkey permits and also federal duck stamp. Everything else is covered. Non-residents aren't eligible for lifetime permits in either Arkansas or Missouri. Lifetime permits are one of the great bargains available today.
laker67 Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 I bought mine at 63 and still saved money. When I first asked about it, the store clerk said he knew everything about the lifetime permit and that it did not include the trout stamp. 2 years later i find out that it does include it. Oh well , its like I paid for it twice but I just got my wife one when she turned 60, so I will break even. Show up on opening day and your good to go. Just throw it in your trout vest, and you always have it with you.
