Had a great 4-5 hours today on the upper wire road access. Managed three nice ones and countless dinks all parred up and pretty.

Biggest one went about 15 inches but was the skinniest trout I have ever seen.

Awesome catches! See any redds or does it seem that a lot were washed away with the flooding earlier in the year?

I have only been to Crane once, and absolutely loved it. The habitat there in my opinion is by far the best in Missouri for larger sized, Blue Stream Trout. Wish I lived closer to go there more often.

Didn't see any redds on the upper but saw a few down from the trestle bridge last time I went! Its a great fishery and very pretty. I go quite a bit. It was a great day down there considering the wind. The big one I sight casted a Prince nymph to and he hit it on second cast. Usually they bolt by I've been working on stealth.
