Members LarryC Posted February 23, 2016 Members Posted February 23, 2016 Its clearing rapidly now that the corp is dropping the lake in earnest. Visibility at Hickory was a foot, but still ugly. Point 12 and upstream on both arms is normal. Temperature is 48 degrees. I ran to the 412 bridge and turned around to come back to point 12. Marked some bait and fish there plus the birds were saying...here, here. Drug around a Flicker Shad and a Manns +20. In two hours I caught two sow white bass and a 25” striper. Beats Saturday. I ran up to the Church Camp on the War Eagle and caught a small kentuck along with a crappie on stick baits. Stump bumper, Blll, zarraspook and 3 others 6 Making Beaver Lake safe for all the little fish...one striper at a time.
Stump bumper Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Looks like Generators are running full for the past two days, current draw should make fishing even better, hope I can get down there before the weekend.
Amery Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 They are drawing down the lake for the next two weeks.
Guest Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Dropping the lake is music to my ears.Watch out, you might catch me running river bluffs at this rate.
