Members sllarson55 Posted March 1, 2016 Members Posted March 1, 2016 Hello all, I'm planning my first trip to Upper Bull Shoals. I'm hoping to find a few walleye but I will work on figuring that out on my own. I'm simply looking for a little advice on best place to stay, where to by bait and where to launch the boat. I'm hoping to stay in or near Forsyth and hoping to fish anywhere from Powersite on down past Beaver creek. Any info you are willing to share with me would be great. Thanks, Seth
duckydoty Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 Suspending stick baits worked real slow. Search Buster Lovings seminar on walleye upper Bull Shoals. Lots of good info there A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
Paco Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 You can launch your boat at Shadow Rock city park at Forsyth or at the COE ramp at Beaver Creek...good bait shop at Forsyth is Tri-Lake up the hill at the 4-way stop by car wash...Joe has been in business there for years..he can satisfy most of your tackle needs including minnows and shiners..there is a private camp ground Bar Bee camp ground..$15 / night (electric, water and sewer) located at the end of the bridge at the entrance of River Run park....good luck the walleye fishing has been REALLY SLOW...but it is time for them to be here
