Nick Williams Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Hey all, I'll be in the Branson area with a big group of couples, and the guys are looking into finding a guide to go fish with. We don't know for sure that everyone will want to go out and fish, but it's possible. So I'm looking for a guide who can accommodate up 7 guys, not picky about species, but we would love to be able to have a fish fry at the end of the day with our catch! Also, driving to a different lake, Beaver for example, is also a possibility! So any recommendations? Personal experience? Thanks! - Nick
rps Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Don House has a pontoon for fishing trout on Taney. Give him a call.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 3, 2016 Root Admin Posted March 3, 2016 A guide can take only 6 people in a boat. That's the limit on his USCG license. We offer pontoon guide trips. There are a couple of guides here that will take up to 6 in our pontoon. Nick Williams 1
Nick Williams Posted March 4, 2016 Author Posted March 4, 2016 That's good information to have, Phil! Is that 6 including the guide, or 6 customers? I knew we could get a guide with a pontoon, or rent our own pontoon, for trout, but we were hoping to find a guide for walleye, crappie, catfish, striper, etc. Something along those lines. - Nick
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 4, 2016 Root Admin Posted March 4, 2016 His license is for 6 people (non guide) in the boat. He can actually have a mate.
Nick Williams Posted March 7, 2016 Author Posted March 7, 2016 Forgot to mention we will be there May 19-21. - Nick
