Weekend fishing report

[Riverwhy]

Fished mid lake area on Saturday from 9:30 to 4:30.  Water temperature was 53 degrees.  We caught 14 short bass and two keepers. A sixteen inch fish came on a crank bait near the back of a creek.  A nineteen in fish hit on a lipless crank bait on a wind blown secondary point. It was windy and cold.   We threw a variety of lures including the Ned, spinner baits. A-rigs, and jerk baits.  Tough day.

I have fished a lot of days where I didn't have 14 fish. Weather was iffy. You made the most of it. Doesn't sound like a bad day to me.
